Brow lift Surgery







Over a period of time due to age forehead and eyebrows tend to droop down. Eventually the skin layer below eyebrow and the skin layer below eyes get’s the puffiness. This gives a very dull and old look to your face. This can be a sign of aging or reaction of any treatment or medicine. This puffiness is also observed in cases of young girls. Diagnosis for Brow lift Surgery

This surgery is an option to uplift eyebrows and tighten the forehead skin. This also helps to remove puffiness of the skin below eyebrow and skin below the eyes. Brow lifting is a very simple surgery that involves removing of extra and unwanted tissues from forehead, skin layer below eyebrow and skin layer below eyes. Removal of these tissues tightens the skin and provides a smooth texture to appearance. The required amount of the skin can also be cut and removed from the upper part of forehead to fulfill required look by the patient.

Endoscopic Brow Lift

Increasingly, cosmetic surgeons are using the endoscopic method for brow lift surgery, which is much less invasive than previous techniques, yet can often achieve an equally desirable result. For an endoscopic brow lift, your cosmetic surgeon will make a series of very short incisions (about ¾” in length) just behind the hairline.

Temporal or Limited Incision Brow Lift

A temporal brow lift involves slightly longer incisions than an endoscopic brow lift and is most commonly performed in conjunction with eyelid surgery. Incisions about 1 inch long are made just above each temple, behind the hairline. Cosmetic surgeon will lift and reposition the tissues of the outer brow area.

Classic or Coronal Brow Lift

Once the standard technique, the coronal brow lift has generally fallen out of fashion, as well-qualified cosmetic surgeons are typically able to make needed improvements with less invasive techniques. In certain cases, however, a coronal brow lift may be necessary to achieve a patient’s desired results.

Direct Brow Lift

Direct Brow Lift requires removing a section of skin and underlying tissue above and following the length of the eyebrows. This procedure is ideal for those who do not want to involve the hairline.
